Age ranges below reflect the typical developmental stage for each Programme. Placement is determined through a short readiness conversation, taking into account each child’s development and readiness to progress.

Developing

Ages 4-5

  • Classification by more than one attribute

  • Simple prediction and "what happens if" thinking

  • Following two-step sequences

  • Beginning independent task completion

  • Puzzles and open-ended building challenges

Extending

Ages 6-7

  • Multi-step reasoning and planning

  • Flexible thinking as rules or conditions change

  • Independent completion of more complex tasks

  • Persistence through challenging problems
