Storytellers & Speakers

Age ranges below reflect the typical developmental stage for each Programme. Placement is determined through a short readiness conversation, taking into account each child’s development and readiness to progress.

Foundational

Ages 2-3

• Simple story listening and picture-based retelling

• Basic vocabulary through play and conversation

• Imitative dramatic play

• Speaking up in a small, familiar group

Developing

Ages 4-5

• Retelling stories in sequence

• Growing descriptive vocabulary

• Simple group conversation and turn-taking

• Confidence in short dramatic play scenes

Extending

Ages 6-7

• Independent storytelling with a beginning, middle, and end

• Rich, descriptive vocabulary use

• Speaking and listening in a full group setting

• Leading or directing dramatic play with peers
